Top 10 Best-Selling Cars of Europe

GM did not have the best results in the US, but they had so in Europe. The Astra compact, by GM's subsidiary brand, Opel, knocked the VW Golf off the #1 position of the best-selling vehicles in Europe.

Renault also did very well with the Clio hatchback even though the overall brand did not do so well. Fiat, on the other hand, recorded the largest sales increase, with the Grande Punto hatchback's sales doubling from the year before.


Toyota ranked 9th in overall brand sales, but not one car from them made the top-10 list.
