Frankfurt: 2008 Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S

Maserati will be unveiling the Quattroporte Sport GT S at the IAA (Frankfurt) next month. The Sport GT S is based on the Quattroporte Sport GT, but adds a few performance tweaks both outside and the mechanism. The 'S' means dynamic behavior and uncompromised handling according to Maserati.

The changes on the exterior are: black metallic paint, black mesh grille, and black window trim and exhausts. The car rides on 20-inch alloys with Pirelli tires. Maserati also made modifications onto the chassis by lowering the car 10mm in the front and 25mm lower at the rear, compared to the Sport GT. It also features aluminum and iron Brembo brakes. The car can be opted with a 6-speed automatic transmission only. Car Magazine expects the car to have a base sticker of approximately £90,000
