Ouch, this must of hurt… See, Hyundai was planning an exclusive press presentation of its European developed i30 compact hatch on the 5th of March at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues at Geneva –a day before the Geneva Show press opening. Well now it won’t be much of an exclusive surprise, no thanks to a watchful visitor at Autoscoop forum who seems to have “scooped” these pics off an Italian car site which posted them up by mistake.
Unfortunately we don’t have any information on the i30 apart from the fact that it's based on the all-new Kia Cee’d and that it will carry on the same engine range that includes 3 petrol motors (1.4 109Hp, 1.6 122Hp & 2.0 143Hp) and 3 diesels (1.6CRDi 90 Hp & 115Hp, 2.0 CRDi 140Hp). As for its design, well, it looks more like a rebadged and remasked Kia Cee’d than a production version of the 2006 Arnejs Concept.
